Genre: YA, Drama, Family, Fantasy, Humor, Romance
Summary: Ever since Will and Alona crossed paths, they’ve been through a lot together, but now they’re on uncharted territory. In order to save a life, Alona is now in another’s body, and adapting to her new life is somewhat of a challenge when everyone expects her to be someone she isn’t, especially Will. Then she finds out that someone is pretending to be her and haunting her former best friend, and she’s determined to find out who it is. Finding a way out of this body would be a bonus. Except something goes horribly wrong, and now Will has to figure out how to save Alona, and possibly, have her stay by his side.
Review:
I think I’ve mentioned before how much I loved the previous books, but now I can safely and gladly (and somewhat psychotically) say that I LOVE this trilogy. It is just amazing. Kade presents a new conflict in the final book, but safely wraps it up beautifully at the end, but I have to say what really got to me in this book is how much the characters grew.
Alona has come a long way from what she used to be. The change is subtle because she’s still headstrong and practical, but her connection to Will and all she’s been through changed her. And Will! There was a scene in the book where he was being all stubborn, but his feelings for her are so sincere, it brought tears to my eyes. Those two are just awesome together.
Kade is a masterful writer in that her characters grew so naturally, and the adventures they faced wasn’t over the top, but just right to tie up the series.
If you’re still on the fence about reading this trilogy, I tell you- GO AND PICK IT UP!
Audience: YA contemporary fans, supernatural and light romances.
