What is a sunset?

A fascinating sphere of orange

When the sun declares its departure

And its yellowness spreads around the ends like the smoke of cigarettes

The sunset brings peace to one’s mind

A tear to the eye

A smile to the lips

In the heart, a lunar eclipse

Sunset announces the coming of night

The closing of light

When the creatures of the dark come out

To wander in their delight

The sky turns into swirls of orange and pink

Where it seems that forever stretches into infinity

Where all my dams have met

I look now, at the ever so lovely sunset.
